To start this topic, I'm afraid I only have a question... no explanation to offer.  But, hopefully, the answer to this question, as well as other Q/A posted here, will sufficiently satisfy the topic title.

Question: What do the three squares in the upper right part of the screen indicate?  In my app, the first one is flashing blue, while the other two are white boxes - look just below "Edition" in this screen shot.  I've tapped all around, and tried sliding the car image left and right, but those icons never change.
