I had an unexpected 50 GC Welcome Back pop up this afternoon. Circumstances were that I had started a long enduro while on wifi on my iPad. I had to go on an errand where I knew I'd have to sit around awhile so took my iPad with me. I resumed my paused game, finished it, got my Fame and Bucks, hit Continue, then voila, Welcome Back 50 GC. Basically I started the game on wifi and finished it off wifi but with the wifi function still on on my iPad. Clearly confused the game somehow. I'm back on wifi now, and I haven't lost the ads. It will be interesting to see if I've somehow lost the daily bonus - I don't see why I would but I don't see why I got the GC either. Not an easy thing to replicate, moving out of wifi range (one could turn it off at the source but what a pain), but if anyone else is interested in trying it, I thought I'd give you this context.
