Back in March FM gave us the Special Vinyl Pack for St. Patrick's Day. As it coincided with the Endurance Gauntlet & 500 challenges I used them on my Vantage GT3. Yesterday I went to run the car for the Olympics Enduro and wanted to revisit the livery.

To my surprise the layers all showed a wheel icon instead of the original SPD vinyls and you can see that all that was left on the car was the basic shapes.

At this point the livery was lost. I'm not really bothered as I didin't like it anyway but I hope this helps to warn other members who may have slaved for hours using those vinyls. Remember to do some screen captures to archive your creations just in case the Monkeys taketh back the gift-that-doens't-keep-on-giving. All it takes is to click "customise" --> "vinyls" and all is lost.

Lastly, I haven't tried editing cars with the other Special Vinyls (Christmas, Halloween, Chocolates, etc.) It could just be a one off glitch or the Luck of The Irish. ;)
