Speed glitch at 340 km/h with Nissan GT-R R35

Hello. 
I've been using the GTR for some time now and I've always wondered why this (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ez9F2h8jdkI) happens. I found that this occurs at speeds at and above 340 km/h and stops happening at 320 km/h.

Why does the RPM go crazy? Is it to do with the limitations of the software engine? Or is it something to do with the simulated downforce.

My device is an iPad 4th generation with 32 GB in storage.
